I don’t think so; the cowlings are stubby which makes them look small when viewed against its wide fuselage . Also, the fan diameter of 7' on a widebody a/c looks small compared to today’s widebodies .

My first trans-continental flight was on one of these back during the Reagan administration, TWA LA to Heathrow. Awesome inside ... wide-bodies are so cool.

Never flown on one. Flew briefly on a DC-10 out of CVG, but it turned around and landed because of a problem with the landing gear. Got moved to something else.
